About Greg Hood

Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) appointed Greg Hood as associate superintendent for high schools on July 1, 2023. Hood has previously served as PWCS management support director of high schools since September 2022.

As associate superintendent for high schools, Hood provides support and direction to the 13 comprehensive PWCS high schools, as well as alternative and specialty schools, and athletics and activities, with a total enrollment of approximately 29,000 students. This position serves as a member of the executive cabinet.

Hood joined PWCS from Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), where he served in several roles during a 25-year career. Hood’s work in FCPS included serving as principal of James Madison High School from 2015-22 and principal of Thoreau Middle School from 2012-15. Hood held several other roles with FCPS including assistant principal, director of student services, teacher, and school counselor.

Hood holds a master’s degree of science in education from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Baltimore.

About Keith Wolfe

Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) appointed Keith F. Wolfe as associate superintendent for high schools on August 14, 2023.

Wolfe most recently served as executive director of secondary education and leadership for Spotsylvania County Public Schools, a position he has held since 2013.

As associate superintendent for high schools, Wolfe will collaborate with Greg Hood in providing support and direction to the 13 comprehensive PWCS high schools, as well as alternative and specialty schools, and athletics and activities, with a total enrollment of approximately 29,000 students. This position serves as a member of the executive cabinet.

Beyond his most recent role, during his 30-year career in education, Wolfe has served in several roles including interim deputy superintendent, high school teacher, high school assistant principal, and middle school principal. Wolfe holds a master’s degree of education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s degree in science from Muskingum University.
