One of the main goals of the library is to teach students how to use the
resources available to them. As part of the Standards of Learning,
all students must know how to utilize the Information Management
System. This process will follow them throughout their school years.

Scholastic Book Fair Coming Soon
The Scholastic Book Fair will
be held in the library December 8 -12. We are excited to
host the Book Fair Safari in Marshall’s library. We’ve
created exciting events for families, and we want to share
this celebration of reading with you. Book Fairs are one of
the highlights of the school year and we are wildly excited
about this one. Family Night will be Tuesday, December 9.
We will be open for family shopping that night until 8 p.m.
We are looking for volunteers
to help us set up the fair on Friday, December 5, and to run
the fair during the week. If you are interested in helping
with the fair, please contact Sue Siegel or Tammy Potter at
703.791.2099 or email
siegelsx@pwcs.edu
