   Second Grade Supply List

2008-2009 School Year

 

  • 24 plain yellow number two pencils SHARPENED
  • 1 box 24 Crayola crayons
  • 1 pair child-size Fiskars pointed scissors for children
  • 6 glue sticks (Ross or Uhu works best)
  • 1 package of baby wipes
  • 2 plastic pocket folders
  • 1 glue bottle (4 oz.)
  • 1 large tissue box
  • 1 ream of copy paper (20 lbs.)
  • 1 box of sandwich size Zip-lock bags (prefer the zipper close)
  • 2 wide-ruled spiral notebooks
  • 1 dry erase marker
  • 1 inch 3 ring binder (thin, bendable, vinyl) – please no bigger; they must be able to fit in the desk.
  • 1 package of watercolor washable markers (Crayola works the best)
  • 1 medium point black Sharpie marker
  • 1 empty cereal box (approx. 10 in. x 12 in.  in size)
  • Backpack- Due to limited space, the coat closet cannot accommodate backpacks with wheels.  Heavy books do not come home in second grade.

 

Individual teachers have supplies needed for their specific classrooms.  Your child’s teacher will send that list home in August.
