For outstanding musical entertainment, come see middle and high school orchestra students as they combine their talents at the upcoming All-County Orchestra program on Saturday, February 9 at 4 p.m. at Stonewall Jackson High School. The concert is free and open to the public.

 

R. Kenneth Carroll, orchestra director at Potomac High School, will direct the All-County Junior Honors Orchestra. The All-County Senior Honors Orchestra will perform under the direction of Jon Wagner, associate professor of music at Shenandoah University. He serves as the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra.

 

“This event provides a unique opportunity for strings students in the county because they   perform both string and full orchestra repertoire in the program,” said Joyce Zsembery, supervisor of the Arts for PWCS.
