The 2012–13 Washington Post Distinguished
Educational Leadership Award
The Washington Post Company Educational Foundation established the Distinguished Educational Leadership Awards to encourage excellence in school leadership by recognizing those principals who create exceptional educational environments. These awards provide school divisions with an opportunity to recognize the important role that principals play in improving the learning opportunities and educational experiences of students.
The winner of this award automatically becomes the Principal of the Year for Prince William County Public Schools.
