What is Nontraditional Education? PWCS Staff to Share Best Practices at Conference on April 15

The Second Annual PWCS Nontraditional Education Conference on April 15 will bring together educators and support professionals from New Directions Alternative Education Center, New Dominion Alternative Center, PACE East/Independent Hill, PACE West, Juvenile Detention Center, and the PWCS Office of Student Management and Alternative Programs. The conference will emphasize program and research-based best practices, effective models of collaboration, strategies for differentiated instruction, and collegial networking. The conference will be held at PACE West School from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Professional educators and PWCS central office content specialists will provide sessions that address assessment and Standards of Learning preparation.
