The Prince William County School Board will present its 2017 Legislative Priorities to members of Prince William County’s legislative delegation at the Board’s annual legislative breakfast on Monday, November 21 at 7:30 a.m. in the atrium of the Kelly Leadership Center.

Top on the list of priorities for the School Board are full funding for state-mandated Standards of Quality, restoration of funding for Cost of Competing Allocations, and funding to reduce class size.

The School Board also asks that the state eliminate the local school division budgetary match required to receive Virginia Preschool Initiative funding.
