Valedictorian, Michelle Miller


Michelle Miller, Forest Park High School valedictorian, thanks one of her freshman year teachers, Mrs. Carlson, for influencing her college and career path. Michelle says it was Mrs. Carlson who fostered her creativity and curiosity into a skill within computer science. This fall, Michelle will begin her studies in computer science at the University of Virginia. Michelle also attended The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park.

Katy Carney, Forest Park High School salutatorian, heads to Virginia Tech this fall. As former Chemistry Honor Society President and former student of The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park, she plans to continue in science, and will be studying mechanical engineering.
