Language Arts – We will be reviewing: all letters of the alphabet (formation and sounds), short and long vowel sounds, rhyming words, dividing words into syllables, sight words.  We will continue to read, read, read!

Math – We will learn to tell time to the hour, add and subtract numbers up to 10, recognize a penny, nickel, dime and quarter and their values, count coins up to 10 cents, use a calculator.

Science – We will study Life Cycles using butterflies (egg, larva, chrysalis, adult butterfly) and plants (seed, roots, stem, leaves) and understand that all living things need food to eat, water to drink, air to breathe.

Social Studies – We will review famous Americans George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Betsy Ross, Pocahontas, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will continue to review maps and the globe emphacizing they show a view from above and show where objects are located.
