The Office of Risk Management and Security Services is dedicated in protecting the financial assets of the School Board and ensuring that a safe school environment and working conditions are provided for staff and students of Prince William County.

Risk Management & Security Services regular office hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday. For after hours emergencies, please refer to the Emergency Contact List.

GATE #2 AT INDEPENDENT HILL COMPLEX is open from 5:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Monday
through Friday. Any after hours access must be requested by your supervisor to this office
before personal access codes are activated.

During normal working hours (Weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) all emergencies should be reported to the Office of Risk Management and Security Services at 703.791.7206.

The Security Patrol Dispatcher is available for after hour emergencies at 703.791.8805. The Security Patrol Dispatcher is available Monday - Friday from 5 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. and weekend coverage begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday until 7:30 a.m. on Monday.

The Office of Risk Management and Security Services manages the Prince William County School Security Resident Program which currently houses residents in school apartments and trailer
sites. The security resident resides on the school property in exchange for specified security services.

If you are interested in submitting an application, please complete the Security Resident Application and mail to the Prince William County Schools, Office of Risk Management and Security Services, P.O. Box 389, Manassas, Virginia 20108.

Attached to the application is a Background Investigation Release and Waiver, which must accompany the application. If the applicants are a couple, a Release and Waiver must be signed by each.

NOTE: Please make sure the Release and Waiver is witnessed by a person who is at least 18
years of age. If not, your application will be returned.
