Tuesday, 11 November - Veteran's Day Holiday.   Schools are closed.
Parents, Family Members, and Friends Needed!
            The Career Day for this school year will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.   We are currently soliciting participants for this important program.   This program is designed to assist our eighth grade students in learning from professionals the duties, responsibilities, educational requirements and training necessary in various career fields.   See the flier for more information, or contact Mrs. Wark in the Guidance Office.

Tuesday, 7 October until 4 PM - There is a SCA meeting for anyone in the Staff Appreciation Committee   in Mrs. Turner's room.
Wednesday, 8 October from 4 P.M. - Members of NJHS are reminded of their monthly meeting.   Please bring a pencil and your large group project idea.   Don’t forget to turn in your ISP forms if you have not already done so.
Wedesday, 8 October by 9:00 A. M. - The final turn-in for magazine fundraiser orders.   The prize for every 3 orders is an orangutan, and someone will also win $100.   Selling 4 magazines will get you into the fundraiser party on Monday, 10 November.   Students will receive their prizes during physical education or music classes.   This will take place in the large gym during the last 10 minutes of their class.   Check out the Parent Letter and the Prize Program, or scroll down and click on Weekly Updates for more information.
October 21, 2008 at Hylton High School at 7:00 P. M. - General Information Meeting concerning all High School Specialty Programs will give an overview of all the programs.   For dates of meetings for particular high schools, check here.
