When will my student have to take SOL tests?

Students take an end of course SOL test in grades: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 (elective course), and 11.

The 3rd grade test includes information taught in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

All students receive an in-class review prior to SOL testing. Testing usually occurs sometime in early May for high school students and later in that month for elementary and middle school students.
