The application process, monitoring of student progress, school re-entry, legal requirements, and reporting responsibilities are supervised by the Supervisor of Secondary Counseling and Student Support Services.

Home Instruction Partial Enrollment
The Prince William County School Board has approved partial enrollment of home instruction/private school students for up to two credit-bearing courses per semester effective with the 2004-05 school year. Please contact your child's base middle school or high school for additional information regarding partial enrollment.
Testing Opportunities
High school-aged home instruction students may participate in Advanced Placement (AP) and Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) examinations and are eligible to receive free AP and PSAT testing opportunities to the same extent as students enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools. Parents may contact the school counseling department of their child's base high school during the first week of October 2008 for PSAT registration information and during the first week of March 2009 for AP test registration information.
