    The purpose of the Summer Reading Program is to encourage students to enjoy quality literature and to continue developing their independent reading skills.  Student participation in the program is voluntary.  Students who choose to participate in the program are required complete a minimum number of readings over the summer.  Student-selected books are acceptable.  Participation in Summer Quest at the local public library is also acceptable.
