Science Fair 2007
|
On April 12, 2007, we held our annual science fair. Each grade level presented projects utilizing the experimental design process. We had everything from “What surface will fingerprints appear best upon?” to “What objects are most memorable?” to “What brand of chewing gum keeps its flavor longest?” The fourth and fifth graders presented individual and group projects that were phenomenal!
We would especially like to congratulate our first and second place fifth graders! Congratulations especially to Kevin Cespedes (first place: physics), Gabrielle Earhardt (first place: chemistry), Karina Sanabria (first place: plant sciences), Samuel Garrison (first place: engineering and mathematics), Makaila Davenport (first place: medicine and health), and Travon ----- and David Rike (first place: earth and space sciences).
These students have the opportunity to present their projects in the Prince William County Public Schools science fair on Saturday, April 21, 2007. We wish them the best of luck competing against other fifth graders in our county!
