Monday-Friday
This year all classes are
full-day, from the start.

Required Supplies, 2007-2008
(Please bring all supplies to Kindergarten Orintation.)

1 three prong folder (red, yellow, blue or green
2 boxes tissues
10 glue sticks
1 large eraser
1 bottle of hand soap
3 packs of 24 crayons
2 package of 12 #2 pencils
1 box of ziploc bags--
girls--gallon size/boys--sandwich size
1 standard size pencil box
(Please label box only with child's name)

Snack Time
Please provide a healthy snack for you child every day (except Thursday). A snack may be purchased for $0.65 per day or $13.00 per month

Transportation
Please be aware of the bus schedule. The bus drivers will not drop your child off unless someone is at the bus stop waiting to pick them up.

Name Tags
Please be sure your child comes to school with his or her name tag on every day for the first 2 weeks of school. The name tag must state how your child gets home. any changes in transportation must be put in writing and given to the teacher.

Volunteers
Each class will need one room "mother" or "father" to coordinate class parties and volunteers. We are looking for volunteers for room mothers and for parents or relatives who would like to help out during the day in the classrooms. If you are interested, please let your teacher know.

Homework
Your child will bring home a homework folder every night except Fridays. Inside you will find a monthly newsletter explaining what the homework is, as well as any and all important paperwork for you to read. Please return all folders the very next day your child comes to school.

Change of clothes
It is important that you leave a change of clothes in your child's back pack just in case of an accident. This is very common at this age and it is best to be prepared.
