Woodbine Preschool Center is a Prince William County public school which serves preschool-aged children (2 to 5 years) who have been identified as having developmental delays. Children are first evaluated by the PWCS Child Find Office to identify areas of delay. The Child Find Office may be reached at 703.791.8857

The staff and families of Woodbine Preschool Center will strive to foster appropriate interactive life skills and maximize developmental potential within the educational and home environments while promoting positive self-esteem in all students.

MISSION STATEMENT

The overall goal of Woodbine Preschool Center is to demonstrate, through teaching in school, home, and other child-care settings, that the key to success is school, family, and community involvement.

We will:

1. Respect and strengthen each child's abilities by providing an appropriate learning environment.

2. Work together as a team--school staff, families, and community--to provide an integrated program for each child.

3. Provide family support throughout the child's preschool educational experience.

4. Address the cultural diversity of our school population to assure all students are achieving to their fullest developmental capacity.

5. Provide assistance to the families and community by sharing our resources, knowledge, and expertise.
