Woodbine Parent Newsletter

A monthly newsletter, Whale’s Tale, is published and distributed to families each month. The newsletter serves to inform families of current and upcoming events at Woodbine and relevant community events. It also profiles program information and shares strategies for enhancing the development of young children. 

Newsletter from Special Education Department

The Parent Resource Center in conjunction with the PWCS Department of Special Education publishes a quarterly newsletter entitled Special Focus. The newsletter is distributed to parents of students receiving special education services. The newsletter may also be viewed at http://www.pwcs.edu/sped/PRC/nwslttr.htm

Home Visits

All students at Woodbine receive “home visits” in which the child’s teacher meets with the parents and/or daycare provider to discuss student progress and to suggest and model intervention strategies that can be implemented at home. The frequency of home visits is determined by the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team.
