Gifted Thursdays

Courses are offered every-other Thursday during the school year to support classroom teacher attainment of gifted accreditation and to support classroom teachers in meeting the needs of gifted learners. Registration is open in the professional development catalog.

AP/IB/AICE Training

Teachers of these advanced courses are encouraged to periodically participate in official training by the organization to keep current in their practice. AP training is offered in Fairfax County and may be paid for by your school. IB training is offered each year at the "Mega-District" event offered in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. AICE training is offered periodically in the district.

Advanced Studies Institute

Each August, the one-day Advanced Studies Institute is offered for high school teachers of advanced courses.
