A healthy child learns better!

The Preschool Health Specialist and Family Service Worker work with families to ensure all children have medical and dental care. Information on community agencies that assist with medical and dental care are given for any family member in need of services.

Before enrollment in school, each child is required to have a current physical - including TB, lead, and hemoglobin.

Preschool children are also required to see the dentist, and to provide follow up information on any medical conditions (such as Asthma, Seizures, Diabetes, or Food Allergies).

Our Health Specialist provides support and referrals for students who are in need of medical care. Please contact the Health Specialist if you have a medical question at 703-791-8708.
