Reading Specialists in PWCS

PWCS has at least one Reading Specialist in every elementary school and middle school, and many of our high schools.

Reading specialists are certified teachers who focus on developing and supporting the implementation of PWCS’ evidence-based literacy program and provide related educational support for teachers and students that are aligned to evidence-based reading research.
