This conference is designed to empower parents, prekindergarten through 12th grade, to advocate for their child and navigate the Section 504 or special education process to ensure successful outcomes. Information includes resources, and a live and in-person conference (times, date, and location above) with breakout sessions and opportunities for parents to network. Information is intended to inform parents about:

  • How to advocate for their child through active participation in their child's education, to include the Section 504 or IEP process;
  • Services and resources available through state and local community partners and how to access them; and
  • A variety of special education related topics; including reading and math, related services, family engagement and mental health.

We look forward to your participation. For additional information, please contact Eleanor Contreras at [email protected].
