IDEA and the Code of Virginia require that Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS), in consultation with private school officials and parent representatives of private school or homeschooled students, determine how these students can participate in special education services that meet their needs. For more information regarding services for students with disabilities placed in private schools by their parents, please visit our website – Child Find & Eligibility.
We look forward to meeting with you and welcome your participation and input regarding special education and related services that PWCS offers students in private schools or who are homeschooled. We hope that you will join us for this important collaborative opportunity.
