Middle School Summer School Program

Grades 6-8

This program is designed to be an extension of the school year and help support students to develop skills to prepare them to be successful going into the next school year. The program provides opportunities to improve necessary skills through interactive and engaging activities. Students will receive instruction in language arts and mathematics. Families will be notified for the 6-8 summer school program by their school.

Schedule

  • Open house at the host middle school sites:
    • June 20, 2025
    • 1-3 p.m.
  • Three-week session - June 23-July 11, 2025
    • No school on July 4 
    • Monday-Friday
    • 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The host middle school sites are as follows:

  • Benton Middle School
  • Marsteller Middle School
  • Rippon Middle School
  • Woodbridge Middle School

Attendance

Attendance is mandatory. Due to the brevity of the program, students absent for more than two consecutive days of the 14-day program may be withdrawn.

Transportation

Transportation service is provided. Bus stops will be different from regular school-year bus stops. No special bus stops will be established for individual students.

Tuition

The PWCS Middle School Summer School is tuition-free.

Registration is open April 7 - May 23, 2025.
