Snowball Math - A Flurry of Fun!

Grades K-5

An epic snowball fight has broken out! How far do you need to be from the enemy to hit them with the perfect snowball? In this interactive session, participants will estimate and measure the distance their snowballs will fly. We will then graph the distance different types of snowballs traveled. What is the best type of snowball to use? What instrument for launching the snowball is most effective? We will examine the data to make inferences and draw conclusions about how to best win the battle. Learn and do some math with your child while having a ball.
