Students studying Spanish at Hylton High School participated in activities to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. One of the activities consisted of decorating classroom doors to represent countries where Spanish is spoken, including the countries' flags and some interesting facts. Additionally, they incorporated QR codes to access questions about the countries so that students could scan the code and answer the questions. Finally, students created a mural for the hallway in which they wrote about what makes them proud to be Hispanic.

Hispanic Heritage Month 2021 was celebrated from September 15th to October 15th to celebrate the contributions and achievements of Hispanic Americans. To learn more about Hispanic Heritage Month, visit HispanicHeritageMonth.gov.
