Classes start September 5 and will conclude in January. Registration must be completed online via the Virtual High School (VHS) website.

VHS@PWCS is a resource for students who want to accelerate their course of study, take additional time to master a previously attempted subject, or work at their own best time to learn. Students can earn a full-course credit in the 17-week fall session. Many choose to fulfill their online course requirement with a VHS course, including the very popular economics and personal finance course.

Twenty-eight online courses for high school credit are offered, including two new math courses, pre-Advanced Placement® geometry, and functions trigonometry. All instructors are highly qualified PWCS teachers.

Students who enroll in VHS health and physical education courses will receive a heart rate monitor on loan for the duration of the session, allowing them to engage in a wide variety of fitness activities to meet their course fitness requirements. Students and their parents will have greater flexibility in the type of activities measured, and students will learn how to use technology to improve their physical fitness.
