Interest in the world around them motivates students to compete in Regional Geographic Bee

Regional Geography Bee WinnersStudents from six PWCS middle schools participated in the regional Geographic Bee. Several rounds of competition with questions ranging from topics of population density to the geographic locations of peninsulas, seas, and mountain ranges revealed the top 10 finalists. After a challenging round of final questions, Ausdin Rhaman at Rippon Middle School was named the champion.

The top 10 finalists were Patrick Kelly, Ayaan Siddiqui, Ben Masters, and Alyssa Kiffer from Benton Middle School; Sebastian San Martin from Graham Park Middle School; Henry Walsh from Lake Ridge Middle School; Zachary Gruninger and Soureen Singh from Reagan Middle School; and Ausdin Rahman and Diego Luque at Rippon Middle School.
