Congratulations to Dale City Elementary fourth grader Ayleen who was recognized by Prince William County Office of Public Safety Communications with the “Making the Right Call Award!” She was honored for making a call to 911 when her brother was having a medical emergency. The 911 dispatcher recognized her for calmness and courage during a difficult situation.

According to the Prince William County Police and Fire departments, the “Make the Right Call” program shows the importance of knowing how to properly use 911 when emergency help is needed. Ayleen’s actions are #PositivelyPWCS. We applaud her for her courage and quick-thinking.
