
In celebration of Prince William County (PWC) Recycles Day 2019, the PWC Recycled Art Contest recognized local high school students who demonstrated artistic abilities using recyclable materials to create their contest submissions. The contest was sponsored by the PWC Environmental Management System Council and hosted by the Colgan High School Center for Fine & Performing Arts.
The top six winners, listed below, were on display at PWC Recycles Day, held on October 12, 2019, where hundreds of people got to view the entries and choose their favorite. “Dragon” by Ainsley Sunday was named “Best In Show,” earning the artist the top prize of a Samsung Galaxy tablet.
