NEW  Family Engagement Session

Focus on Prince William County Public Schools Code of Behavior and Transportation Services

September 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. – Live Virtual Session

This Family Engagement Session is open to families of English Learners students Title I, and/or Special Education students.

Join us while we explore the PWCS Code of Behavior highlighting ways to ensure awareness of permissible behaviors at school and it’s events. During the session we will also discuss pertinent information regarding Transportation services,  particularly what to do when your student misses the school bus and where to communicate changes. We will share resources and programs available to your students. Discussion time and resources will be provided.

Presenters for this session include:

Dara Dugger, Director of Office of Student Management and Alternative Programs. Ms. Dugger previously served as a Director of School Counseling and has over 15 years supporting students and families. Currently, Ms. Dugger supervises the Division's student discipline process and nontraditional educational opportunities, including the Division's summer school program. 

Emily LePore, Prince William County Public Schools, Administrative Coordinator of Specialized Transportation. Ms. LePore has been employed with Prince William County Public Schools since 1998. She holds multiple certifications in pupil transportation and works closely with the Office of Student Services and the Office of Special Education.

Parents as Educational Partners Sessions

Our Division  offers sessions to help families acclimate themselves with the US educational system. The Parents as Educational Partners  programs (PEP) are available at many schools and at our Global Welcome Centers in both Woodbridge and Manassas.
