Tuition Reimbursement
The purpose of the PWCS Tuition Reimbursement Program is to encourage professional growth and development, to meet certification and license renewal requirements, and to increase instructional or professional knowledge and skills sets. This program is available on a first-come-first-served basis, contingent on the availability of budgeted funds.
We are currently accepting requests for courses with end dates for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021 . You must submit requests as soon after registration as possible; we will NOT accept forms for classes that have already ended.
Effective with the 2019-20 fiscal year, due to fiscal year budget allowances, Continuing
Education Class (CEC) Reimbursement is now available for all non-exempt PWCS
employees for any continuing education class or event that your supervisor
deems is directly related to professional development in your current PWCS
position. Please see the chart below for information and fiscal year
maximums.
Please read all procedures for this program so your request is accepted and processed.
You must submit requests as close to registration as possible. We will not accept requests for reimbursement if your course is already complete. Our regulation requires approval for your request upon registration for your courses.
Forms for tuition reimbursement can be found on the PWCS Benefits Intranet page. You will be required to use your PWCS login ID and password.
You must be a current PWCS employee at the time you attend your classes or take exams to be eligible for reimbursement. Any courses or tests taken prior to employment with PWCS are not reimbursable.
