Mission
The mission of the Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) Data Analysis and Reporting is to facilitate the effective and efficient use of student enrollment and performance data to meet state and federal reporting requirements, and to provide data analytics support and expertise to support schools and central office areas in student outcomes analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting manages and supports the below requirements and initiatives:
- State and federal reporting requirements, including Student Record Collections, Discipline Collection, Standards of Quality Compliance, and Civil Rights Data Collection.
- Provide support to schools and offices to assure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Create aggregate data reports and visualizations for use in analyzing performance outcomes and trends for student groups.
- Train and support school and central office administrators on accessing and analyzing data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
