Integrated Pest Management Program

The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program provides routine and emergency services to all Prince William County Public Schools and its facilities. The IPM team is staffed with highly trained and state licensed professionals to eradicate pests such as insects, rodents, and birds. The IPM team effectively uses the safest procedures available to provide a clean and safe environment for all students and staff of Prince William County Public Schools and its facilities.

  • Pest Control Without Pesticides: The IPM team uses methods such as trapping, screening, and caulking to control and eliminate pests. Steam cleaning and power washing are often used in eradicating insects and other pests. Safer practices are always implemented to ensure the health and safety of the students and staff of Prince William County Public Schools.
  • Work Orders: All IPM requests are processed through work orders in an expeditious manner. Work order requests should be electronically forwarded to Facilities Services via the School Dude Maintenance Direct work order system. If you have questions or require training related to the work order system, please contact Facilities Management at 703-791-7222.
