PWCS Recycles
Recycling conserves natural resources, reduces landfill waste, and promotes the concept of sustainability. PWCS recognizes the importance of recycling and how it positively contributes to our community's environment.
The following items can be recycled in our schools and facilities:
- Aluminum (metal) cans
- Cardboard
- Cartons (juice and milk)
- Paper
- Plastic bottles (types 1 and 2)
Single Stream Recycling
Single stream recycling refers to a method where all recyclables are placed together in a single bin, rather than having to sort them. The combined materials are collected by our contractor for Solid Waste & Recyclable Pick-Up and Disposal Services, American Disposal Services, and sorted at their facility. Visit the American Disposal Services website.
