Join the Global Welcome Center for an exciting and interactive workshop series designed for multilingual families who are new to the United States. The workshops will teach valuable skills to navigate the U.S. education system and empower you to actively participate in your child’s education.

Event Details

Each workshop will be a fun and engaging one-hour session for parents to:

• Learn the structure, curriculum, and key milestones of Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).
• Get answers to questions you have about the school system.
• Connect with other parents and PWCS support staff.

Childcare will be provided for children ages 5 (must be potty trained) through 12 years old.

There will be prizes, refreshments, and much more!

The first workshop will be held on:

• Monday, January 13, 2025
• Friday, January 17, 2025
