Instructional Online Intent Letter/Transfer Process
2023-24 School Year
The 2023-24 online instructional letter of intent will be available for all current employees through their personal PWCS WorkSpace no later than January 3, 2023. An intent/transfer information session was held via Zoom webinar on December 14, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. to review the transfer process and give employees an opportunity to review WorkSpace and learn the basic steps for completing the letter of intent/transfer request form. Beginning on or just before January 3, 2023, and extending through January 15, 2022, all instructional personnel, administrative, and classified personnel will be asked to submit their intent for the 2023-24 school year. As in the past, all instructional personnel may amend their intent/transfer form one time before the submission deadline of June 1, 2022, through an online process. Those employees who do not submit an intent form for possible transfer to another school for the 2023-24 school year may not be considered for vacancies and will not be placed on the approved transfer list for consideration.
The process is fairly simple. Instructional personnel will be sent an email with the link to the PWCS WorkSpace. The PWCS WorkSpace username and password are the same as the employment application username and password. Please consider participating in this voluntary process. Transferring is not guaranteed. However, signing up gives you the opportunity to be considered if you so choose.

January 22, 2023 | Principals may begin interviewing teachers on the approved transfer list from all schools. |
June 1, 2023 | Last date for instructional employees to amend the online letter of intent/transfer form. |
June 15, 2023 | End of the open Transfer Period. Principals can only make recommendations through the close of business on June 15, 2023 |
June 15, 2023 | Resignations must be received by the close of business to be “released without concern.” |
