Tuition Reimbursement

Tuition Reimbursement

The purpose of the PWCS Tuition Reimbursement Program is to encourage professional growth and development, to meet certification and license renewal requirements, and to increase instructional or professional knowledge and skill sets. This program is available on a first-come, first-served basis – contingent on the availability of budgeted funds.

You must be a current PWCS employee when you attend your classes or take exams to be eligible for reimbursement. Any courses or tests taken before employment with PWCS are not reimbursable.

Fully licensed classroom instructional personnel, provisionally licensed teachers of non-core subject areas, and classified employees seeking a teaching degree are eligible for reimbursement.

Participate learning teachers, substitutes, and temporary staff are not eligible for reimbursement through the Tuition Reimbursement Program.

We will only accept requests for courses with end dates for the current fiscal year of July 1-June 30. We cannot accept requests for courses that have already ended, for courses in a previous fiscal year or courses you attended before your employment start date with PWCS.
