Purchasing Office

Mission

To serve as the centralized purchasing agency for Prince William County Public Schools, and direct the procurement of essential goods, services, and construction requirements that enhance and support effectiveness in providing high quality, comprehensive and World-Class Education for all students in accordance with applicable laws, policies and regulations, while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Vision

The Purchasing Office will develop and orchestrate a unique cooperative partnership with budget holders, bookkeepers, vendors, schools, departments, and senior leadership team. This partnership will provide innovative and automated programs and processes for the purchasing of goods and services with the ultimate goals of a seamless, paperless procurement process that complies with all procurement laws and policies of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Prince William County School Board.
