Program Overview
Prince William County Public School's (PWCS) Evening School Program offers a combination of in-class instruction with online learning. This program offers students personalized instruction, one-to-one support, and open lines of communication so students and parents can connect with teachers when needed.
A course schedule typically lasts 15 weeks, during which students will complete a year-long course for a high school credit. All courses are taught by certified content teachers.
Why do students take Evening School courses?
- To earn a credit necessary for on-time graduation
- To repeat a course for a better grade and grade-point-average (GPA)
- To recover a credit lost by a failing grade
- To add an extra course that would not fit into the normal day schedule of classes
