The Prince William County School Board will conduct a special meeting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Edward L. Kelly Leadership Center, 14715 Bristow Road, Manassas, Virginia. The Board will meet primarily for the purpose of conducting the Superintendent’s annual goal setting for the 2024-25 school year. Since these discussions relate specifically to the performance of the Superintendent, an appointee and employee of the Board, the Board will meet in closed session for that purpose and other purposes as permitted by Va. Code § 2.2-3711. There will be no citizen comment time.
Pursuant to School Board Policy 139, “School Board Member Participation in Meetings by Electronic Communication,” one or more School Board Member(s) may participate in this meeting through electronic means from his/her home due to a medical condition, to care for a family member with a medical condition, or for personal reasons that prevents his/her physical attendance. If so, the Clerk will so note in the minutes of the meeting.
