Public Hearing: Citizens addressed the School Board on the FY 2019 CIP/Budget.

The School Board Approved:

• April as Arab-American Heritage Month and National Autism Awareness Month;
• May 4-18 as Healthy Communities for Healthy Youth Week;
• May 7-11 as Exceptional Children's Week;
• May 9 as National School Nurse Day;
• The contract awarded to V.F. Pavone Construction Co., for renovation at Stonewall Middle School;
• The contract awarded to Service Mechanical, Inc., for the HVAC rooftop unit replacements at Graham Park Middle School;
• The inclusion of nominees for the VSBA Business Honor Roll;
• The School Board meeting minutes for March 7;
• The 2018 end of year spending recommendations;
• The FY 2019 Budget/CIP as presented; and
• Confirmation of the School Board Poll dated March 20 - relating to the March 21 School Board meeting.
