Adults 18 years of age or older who have not completed high school and are interested in obtaining a General Educational Development (GED®) Certificate can take an official GED® Practice Test free of charge on:

  • Saturday, September 21, 2019, testing starts at 10 a.m. (Doors open at 9:45 a.m.)
  • Monday, September 30, 2019, testing starts at 6 p.m. (Doors open at 5:15 p.m.)

The practice test will be offered at the Adult Learning Center, located at the Independent Hill Complex, building #4, 14800 Joplin Road, Manassas, VA 20112. Preregistration is required. Students may preregister by calling 703.791.7357 to secure an appointment. Space is limited.

The GED Ready® Test determines readiness to take the official GED® Test. Individuals may select which test(s) to take or take all four if time allows. Practice test participants whose score indicates readiness to pass an official GED® Test subject may qualify for a free test subject voucher (a $30 value).

*Vouchers are valid for testing at Prince William County Public Schools Adult Education only. Offerings are contingent on the availability of funding.
