Adult education classes can help you prepare to take the citizenship test

If you want to become a naturalized U.S. Citizen, you can prepare yourself for the test by taking classes through the PWCS Adult Education Office.

Beginning fall 2019, Citizenship classes for residents of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. according to the following schedule.

Classes:

  • September 24 to November 19, 2019, at Stonewall Middle School, located at 10100 Lomond Dr. in Manassas
  • October 8 to December 5, 2019, at Gar-Field High School, located at 14000 Smoketown Rd. in Woodbridge

You must register prior to enrolling in a class. Allow approximately one hour for registration. A tuition fee of $80 will be due at registration and may be paid by cash, cashier’s check or money order only.

Registrations: Doors open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

  • Monday, September 9, 2019, and Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Stonewall Middle School
  • Tuesday, September 10, 2019, and Monday, September 16, 2019, at Gar-Field High School
