celebrate
National
Foreign
Language
Week
each
year
by
organizing
a
variety
of
school-wide
activities
that
showcase
the
language
diversity
of
their
school
communities
and
integrate
the
world
languages
studied
in
their
schools.
The
World
Language
Program
piloted
the
PWCS
poster
contest
based
on
the
National
Foreign
Language
theme:
"Languages
are
the
Key
to
the
World."
Contest
rules:
required
the
use
of
the
target
language
or
the
language
of
study
in
the
theme
title
and
message,
had
to
be
22
X
28
in
size,
and
allowed
for
various
media
for
their
original
artistic
representations.
Student
winners
will
receive
a
certificate
of
recognition,
a
gold,
silver,
or
bronze
medal,
and
they
and
their
teachers
will
be
honored
at
an
upcoming
School
Board
meeting.
