took
home
the
Rookie
of
the
Year
Award
at
the
2020
National
Association
of
Home
Builders
(NAHB)
Student
Competition.
Winebarger
also
received
a
NAHB
Outstanding
Student
Award.
The
National
Association
of
Home
Builders
(NAHB)
Student
Competition
is
part
of
the
International
Builders
Show,
held
earlier
this
year
in
Las
Vegas,
Nevada.
The
team
was
tasked
with
developing
a
complete
set
of
authentic,
permit-ready
working
drawings,
a
detailed
materials
and
labor
estimate,
and
a
logically
sequenced,
full
construction
time
schedule
meant
to
complete
a
specific
two-story
home.
The
competitors,
accompanied
by
their
technology
education
teacher,
Tim
Mason,
traveled
to
Las
Vegas
to
present
in
the
architecture
category
before
a
panel
of
industry
professionals.
