Place
for
Hate®
is
an
education
initiative
that
is
part
of
the
Anti-Defamation
League
(ADL)
with
over
1,600
participating
schools
across
the
country.
Since
the
launch
of
No
Place
for
Hate®
in
2016,
over
20
schools
in
Prince
William
County
have
participated
in
the
initiative,
empowering
students,
staff,
and
family
members
to
promote
positive
school
climates
and
take
a
stand
against
hate
and
bullying.
Last
year
seven
Prince
William
County
Public
Schools
(PWCS)
were
honored
by
the
ADL
for
their
participation.
This
year,
30
schools
in
Prince
William
County
participated
in
No
Place
for
Hate®
and
26
were
honored
for
pushing
the
No
Place
for
Hate®
message
of
respect
and
inclusion
throughout
their
school
and
community.
Schools
earn
a
designation
by
completing
a
No
Place
for
Hate®
assessment,
starting
a
No
Place
for
Hate®
committee,
signing
the
ADL
Resolution
of
Respect,
participating
in
One
a
World
of
Difference
Institute
of
anti-bias
or
bullying
prevention
training
program,
and
making
and
implementing
three
school-wide
bullying
or
anti-bias
prevention
activities.
