Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) is gathering information from parents and guardians about their intentions for the 2020-21 school year regarding enrollment for their student(s) as well as technology needs.
The school division is requesting parents/guardians complete a Return to Learn form via ParentVUE for each enrolled student to provide feedback to assist in planning for the upcoming school year. The form is only available in the web version of ParentVUE, not the ParentVUE app. The form will remain open through Friday, July 31, 2020.
Once logged into ParentVUE, click on your student's name, then select Student Info, and click Edit Information. Review the form and answer each question. Once completed, click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. To complete a form for another child, select the next student from the drop down in the left upper corner of the screen and repeat the process to complete the form. Login to ParentVUE to complete the form.

The Prince William County School Board voted unanimously to adopt a Return to Learn Plan that will have the first quarter of the school year as all-virtual learning for most students. The first quarter will start for students on September 8, 2020, ending October 30, 2020. The goal will be to transition to a 50% capacity in-person and distance learning model in the second quarter, with the option for students to remain all virtual.
Under the plan, PWCS will consider offering in-person services to special education students as determined appropriate by their IEP teams, and to the most vulnerable English Language Learners and students with interrupted learning, as determined to be instructionally appropriate and feasible.
