The 2021 spring special series classes include:

Customer Service Career Pathways, April 19 through June 9, 2021

  • Class meets 6-9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • Provides 90 hours of instruction
  • Cost of $250 includes certification exam
May session classes:
May 3 through June 2, 2021 (Basic Skills, Pre-GED ®, GED ®, English Language, Computer Basics, Financial Literacy, Writing Bootcamp)
  • Virtual and face-to-face instruction (COVID permitting) offered
  • Classes meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • 9 a.m. to noon or 6-9 p.m.*
  • Classes provide 54 hours of class instruction
  • Cost is $80 plus book

*Computer Basics, Financial Literacy, Writing Bootcamp meet 6 to 9 p.m. only

GED ® Distance Learning:
This distance education program is for students who desire the convenience of studying from a computer with internet access while an instructor provides individualized instruction. The flexibility of this program allows students to begin at any time, on their own time. Computer access/Wi-Fi is needed to complete this program. Students need to attend an information session and take a placement test to ensure proper placement in this program. Cost is $30 for 30 days of unlimited access, 24 hours per day. Continuous study at $30 for 30 days is available to enrolled students. Information sessions take approximately one hour and are held on the following Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10 a.m.

  • At 6 p.m. on Tuesdays: April 13, May 11, and June 8
  • At 10 a.m. on Saturdays: April 10, May 15, and June 12

National External Diploma Program (NEDP):
Earn an adult high school diploma through this competency-based program. Students meet with an advisor on a one-on-one basis and scheduling is flexible. Computer access/Wi-Fi is needed to complete this program. Fees are $800 for Prince William County residents. Out-of-county residents pay $1000. Fees may be paid in specified installments. Attend an information session to find out more and to take the qualifying test for entry into this program. Information sessions are held at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the following Mondays: April 12, May 10, and June 7.
