United
Way
Month
kicks
off,
PWCS
invites
you
to
join
others
who
give
to
the
United
Way
Campaign.
Past
contributions
have
funded
a
multitude
of
service
organizations
providing
much-needed
services,
including
shelter
and
emergency
assistance,
crisis
intervention
programs,
care
for
terminally
ill
patients,
family
counseling,
legal
aid
for
the
elderly,
training
for
persons
with
severe
handicaps,
youth
programs,
and
medical
and
dental
care.
Last
year,
PWCS
employees
contributed
more
than
$74,000
to
various
organizations
through
the
United
Way
Campaign.
SPARK,
the
education
foundation
for
PWCS,
receives
thousands
of
dollars
thanks
to
donations
made
through
the
United
Way.
This
money
helps
the
Foundation
continue
to
offer
educational
assistance
to
students
and
teachers
through
the
Innovative
Grants
program,
scholarships,
and
other
special
projects.
Those
interested
in
giving
to
SPARK
this
year
may

Federal
government
employees
may
also
donate
dollars
toward
local
education
by
contributing
to
SPARK
via
the
Combined
Charitable
Campaign;
designate

have
your
money
make
a
difference
for
education
in
Prince
William
County.
With
the
generous
support
of
Chick-fil-A
adding
to
the
PWCS
effort,
SPARK
looks
forward
to
the
most
successful
campaign
yet.
